The Insolvency Service may be speculating this morning (Saturday 24 October) how fallen tennis star Boris Becker, now facing 28 charges of Bankruptcy fraud in the UK, can afford to pay the German state three million Euro in back taxes, far exceeding the amount he actually owed it for tax fraud. This was in attempt to settle the small matter of a criminal charge in Germany for failing to pay more than one million Euro in taxes between 1991 and 1993, and trying to stop the affair going all the way to court.
