Another CPD TAP warning for those of you sitting the Joint Board's Personal Insolvency Paper on 10 November ...
... as well as anyone in our glorious profession dealing with the fallout from insolvent people's estates.
Our friends in the CPD TAP department (in Cayman) tell us that this morning (Thursday 9 September) they published a new case of interest to anyone insolvent and dead, reminding us that the JIEB have long held a fascination for dead people in both their Papers. There was an epidemic about seven years ago when the Liquidator died in the Liquidations' Paper, followed by the Administrator in the ACVAR Paper the next year and the Bankrupt came down with it two years later in the Personal Insolvency Paper. It was like watching a news report from Syria.
Today we published the very latest case to emerge from the High Court (Sleight (Trustee in Bankruptcy of Holdroyd) v Callin) and it is worth 15 minutes of your time if you are going for a de-caf coffee to wash down your Ginkyo Biloba.
