After a speedy trip through the House of Lords, the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Bill headed back to the Commons with amendments on 24 June. On 25 June 2020, the House of Commons agreed the Bill with all the amendments and by midnight last night the Bill had received royal assent. The Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 came into force today, 26 June 2020.
