Insolvency Service Launches New Monthly Insolvency Statistics

The Insolvency Service have released the first of their new monthly insolvency statistics. The intention is to provide more up to date information on the numbers of companies and individuals who are unable to pay their debts and enter into a formal insolvency procedure as the coronavirus pandemic continues.

The Insolvency Service will continue to publish these on a monthly basis, two weeks in arrears of month end.

The figures provided today are provisional and subject to review. They state that historical data presented within these statistics may not be consistent with the previously published quarterly statistics.
