Billy is down the pub celebrating with students who have passed their exams; their results being announced today (Friday 4 March). These are medical students passing their final exams, a fact which calls into question whether he really knows what we all do for a living here at NTI.
The office is virtually deserted (we pay for Neil to go away for a long weekend on Joint Board results day, as the only sure way of ensuring he doesn't go off on one of his rants ...), but those of us left behind want to offer our heartfelt congratulations to those magnificent NTI students who passed today, making themselves, their friends and families, their firms and then (very finally) us proud of what is a truly great achievement.
With the wonderful Grace, a first prizewinner from Norwich, leading the way, the pass lists were veritably spattered with many of our absolute favourite names from a series of face-to-face courses that we so enjoyed leading last year. There are way too many to mention, but to all of you ...enjoy your hard-earned celebrations. We are so proud of you.
There were a couple of names we didn't recognise, so we guess you must have either made it by way of distance learning or with BPP. So a special 'well done' to you. That is quite a feat.
Enjoy everything.
