October CPD: Another Bumper Month

With the 1st November for the ‘ICAEW changes’ marker now having passed, it is becoming more vital to be able to access and verify your CPD.

With NTI's CPD TAP all the time spent listening to or downloading our up-to-the-moment webcasts is both 'verifiable' and extremely useful. We also had a great October, publishing 17 CPD TAP webcasts totalling 4 hours 35 minutes of updates, commentary, 'teaching moments' and, most importantly, highly relevant CPD.

Here is a summary of some of the content from September that is, of course, always available on the NTI app and can be listened to and shared at any time.

**   Dear IP 160 was published, so as we always do, we provided a webcast on its contents

**   Rebecca Stratton of Howard Kennedy joined us to chat about CIGA Moratoriums

**   We also continued our Consumer Issues series, looking at issues facing the Personal Insolvency and Debt Advice sectors

**   We continued our series on Insolvency Guidance Papers, with webcasts on Control of Cases, the Family Home and Retention of Title

**   Restructuring Plans and Schemes of Arrangement continued as a hot topic in the industry – we had a webcast on each

**   Three recent Bankruptcy cases were covered; Khan v Singh-Sall, Sunset v Al-Hindi and … two looking at annulment, and one on COMI  

**   We looked at IR35 Intermediaries Legislation, and how it can affect IPs

**   COMI was a continuing theme, with a webcast on non-enforceable foreign judgments

**   Litigation Funding and Fee Approval are always a keen area of interest for IPs: we had a webcast on each

**   To finish the month’s webcasts, we looked at Persons At Risk of Violence and how it might affect your cases
