Only 1.4% Of Coronavirus Loans Accepted

Reports over the weekend claimed that 300,000 businesses have applied for the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) and only 4,200 have been accepted. The Government has not denied these figures and has stated that they are talking directly to the largest lenders and making it very clear that they need to "get money out of the door very quickly".
