At their appropriately socially distanced away weekend the major economists of the UK have taken to Scrabble to work out the letter to use to describe today's view of our country's bounceback from financial hell. The chief economist pulls an 'N' out of the bag first, followed swiftly by an 'O'. "Not good", says one of the other pre-eminent economists looking over his shoulder, "two one point letters". The chief economist knows better than to pay much attention to his colleague and dips into the bag again, pulling out an 'I' and a 'D'.
